  and Eric Souther (Western Michigan University)\,&nbsp\;Still / Moving: Fr
 aming New Media&nbsp\;explores the relationship between still and moving i
 magery in interdisciplinary lens-based artwork. The show includes video\, 
 photography\, installation\, book arts\, and performance\, and shows a pro
 gression between analog film\, digital video\, electronic lens-based media
 \, and new media technologies. From still-capture (using a camera to recor
 d and freeze movement)\, to a moving sequence of images recorded with anal
 og film and digital video methods\, the artists make tangible the seemingl
 y mysterious and sometimes misunderstood art that can be defined as New Me
