Jerry taught art at Muncie Community Schools for ove r 30 years and volunteered at Minnetrista on various projects after he ret ired. His grandfather’s oil paintings influenced his youth. He designed the Madison Heights school shield that was installed on the gymnasium wall and did set designs for plays while in school. His main interest is in ar t history and the study of men and women over the ages of Western Civiliza tion\, their interpretation of life\, and how they handled their subjects. He does both two- and three-dimensional projects.
