Grammy-nominated composer, arranger, and saxophonist Remy Le Boeuf will appear with BSU Jazz 1. The ensembles are under the direction of Mark Buselli.
Remy Le Boeuf is a 4x Grammy-nominated composer and saxophonist whose music is rooted in the jazz tradition and overlaps into contemporary classical and indie-rock realms. Le Boeuf is also the founder and director of the jazz orchestra, Assembly of Shadows, as well as the Chief Conductor of the Nordkraft Big Band in Denmark. He has worked with a range of collaborators including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Linda Oh, HAIM, JACK Quartet, Dayna Stephens, Prefuse 73, and his identical twin brother Pascal, with whom he co-leads the experimental jazz quintet, Le Boeuf Brothers.

The Concert Choir is a select ensemble open to students of all disciplines by audition. The Chamber Choir is the university’s most prestigious concert choir, typically comprised of 32 singers: mostly upper-level music majors and graduate students.
Program
These ensembles will showcase virtuosic choral singing as a capstone to the year, including repertoire from diverse cultural perspectives alongside choral classics. We will reflect on the impact of the 2019 pandemic, pay musical tribute to former director of choral activities Douglas Amman, and honor our graduating seniors.

Bob Ross Painting Workshops are 14 & up unless otherwise noted. All supplies are included. Everyone in attendance must be registered for the workshop, and The Bob Ross Experience ticket is not included. This workshop space is only accessible via a staircase.
